French Army Indochina Algeria Leather MAS 38 SMG Pair Magazine Pouches

A pair of original French Army issue leather MAS 38 SMG magazine pouches. In natural light brown leather. NOT the later yellow type. In excellent condition. Both pouches show small signs of storage marks as shown. One of the pouches has several manufacturer and acceptance stamps. Used by Metropolitan, Colonial and Legion forces from 1945 through into the Algerian War. Fits 20rd magazines from the MAS 38 Submachine gun. Fitted with twisted metal hooks that fit the French leather 'X' straps of the same pattern.
