WWI German Leather Gaiters
Imperial German leather gaiters or "Rindleder-Gamaschen" are constructed of heavy duty brown leather with two strap and buckle closure.
These were designed to be worn with the officers' lace-up boots in place of ridding boots.
They were also worn by NCO's, Pioneer and other mounted troops.
These Offizier Gamaschen are in excellent condition.
