British Army Mk1 Gas Mask
Mk1 Lightweight Service anti-gas Respirator, made by Avon in early 1943. Initially designed for paratroopers and other types of special units to fit with the pattern 1944 British Army webbing. It would eventually replace the MK.V general service gas mask. This is the type used in operation overlord and the European assault of 1944.
